May 7, 2008: New York City: Protests regarding Sean Bell's killing by NYPD on his wedding day took place all over the city. Demonstrators blocked the entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge at City Hall to protest the aquitall of 3 detectives in the killing of Sean Bell. |

Trent Benefield (white scarf), Sean Bell's friend who was with him when he was killed, was arrested. In all 216 people were arrested at 6 different locations around New York City. |
