June 10, 2007: People around the world participated in a global Day of Action -- "The World Says No to Israeli Occupation" -- to mark the 40th year of Israel's illegal military occupation of the Palestinian West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem. Yesterday, more than 5,000 people from all over the country gathered on the West Lawn of the Capitol for an inspiring rally, and then marched through Washington, DC, toward the White House |
