June 23: New York Says No to Bush. Thousands of protesters lined 7th Ave. around the Sheraton to protest all the policies of the Bush Regime. Planned Parenthood and United for Peace and Justice rallyied South of the Hotel while the Coalition for the Rights of Immigrants presented Bush with a Reality Check North of the Hotel. Inside Republicans paid $2000 a plate to dine with Bush. Outside, NYPD couldn't let the day pass without grabbing some protesters and arresting them.
