March 25: The Brooklyn Peace Parade was led by Brooklyn kids. Congresswomen Yvette Clarke and Nydia Velasquez provided a civics lesson. Some in the crowd vocally disagreed with their votes for a supplemental bill that continues funding for the war but does talk about a timeline for leaving Iraq in 2008. The Brooklyn Representatives defended their vote.

Several bands marched in the parade helped provide a lively protest atmoshere.
