Four Mexicans on their porch enjoy a St. Patrick's Day Parade. Mexican men are seen all over New Orleans, working on crews or waiting on corners for a day job. Often harrassed by Immigration the Mexicans replace the City's African Americans in the work force.
Vietnamese Children admire a puppy in East New Orleans. The community was hit hard by the hurricane.

A vendor in the French Market lost her home in the flood. Her husband is a minister who lost 3 churches which are being rebuilt because they were able to obtain insurance funds.

St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Treme was reassigned by the Archdiosese forcing the church to be absorbed by another parish. Protesters occupied the rectory and demonstrated during Mass.
