March 18: NYC Peace march to mark and protest the 4th anniversary of the war in Iraq drew more than 20,000 people to midtown Manhattan. New Yorkers marched from Bryant Park on 42nd St, then on 3rd Ave. past the offices of Senators Clinton and Schumer. The people ended up at the UN with a Peace and Justice fair. |
