With Cerritos College adding new courses for the summer, this allows students to take the courses they need sooner and not wait until the next semester to start.
Students can start registering for the summer session now to ensure they get a secure place in the courses they need.
Students can choose from four different summer sessions. The first starts on May 23, and then they all follow from there.
Summer 2022 session dates:
- May 23 – June 30, 2022
- June 20 – July 29, 2022
- June 20 – August 12, 2022
- July 5 – August 12, 2022
Students have the option of taking one-week, 3-week, 6-week or even 9-week course sessions, giving them the flexibility to still enjoy their summer.
While verifying Cerritos College Coursesstudents will be able to see if classes still have places open, closed or on a waiting list.
If the students see that there is a waiting list for the class, they can still register but it will not be sure that they will enter.
Teachers sometimes add students to the waitlist based on the attendance they receive the first week the class begins.
In addition to checking if there are places available, students will also be able to see which books are needed for the class by simply clicking on the books next to the class of their option.
Cerritos College aims to allow students to take more courses for the summer that are necessary for them to transfer, graduate or for any reason.
If students wish to register for summer sessions and attend in-person classes, they will need to have their full vaccination status uploaded or an approved exemption will be required.
