The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has opened up to join the NIDA team as a course coordinator supporting the running of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Technical Course in Theater and Stage Management (TTSM).

The lesson Coordinator (TTSM) is responsible for supporting the effective operational delivery of NIDA’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) TTSM, applying strong coordination skills and abilities.

Working closely with the TTSM Course Manager and Manager, Learning and Innovation, the Course Coordinator collaborates with NIDA BFA Programs staff to streamline and improve administrative processes. The role also includes extensive liaison with NIDA staff, students, alumni, industry contacts and the general public. This role is also responsible for coordinating student projects and productions as well as assisting with budget preparation, planning, monitoring and evaluation of projects.

You have excellent organizational and time management skills as well as great attention to detail. You have experience working in a small team and in a large organization. You possess exceptional communication skills and problem-solving abilities. You will be able to work independently and take initiative to develop processes and thrive in a dynamic environment.

This is a 3 year full time contract.

The base annual salary is $68,189 + 10.5% superannuation
