Victim had Rolex watch stolen from Crystal Springs golf course


BURLINGAME, Calif. — An Oakland man was arrested Thursday morning in connection with an armed robbery at Crystal Springs Golf Course in Burlingame and another suspect is at large, according to the County Sheriff’s Office. San Mateo.

The suspects stole a Rolex watch and wallet from the victim on the golf course at gunpoint just before 10:30 a.m. Thursday and fled in a silver Infiniti sedan, the sheriff’s office said.

They were then charged with another robbery in San Ramon before being located in Pleasanton in the parking lot of Stoneridge Mall.

One of the suspects, Fajon Green, 22, was arrested but the other suspect, identified as a black man in dark clothing, escaped.

The two suspects were also charged with another armed robbery in San Mateo on Wednesday using the same weapon, according to the sheriff’s office. Green was found in possession of several Rolex watches and a Glock pistol after being taken into custody at the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

Green was charged with multiple crimes, including armed robbery and robbery with a loaded firearm.

The sheriff’s office is working with the Daly City, San Mateo and San Ramon police departments on the ongoing investigation.
