Are you feeling even more stressed than usual this holiday season? Taking care of yourself can easily get to the bottom of this long to-do list. Stay creative and stay sane in this beautiful wintery world by taking a local art class right here in Ogden.

Here are some of the opportunities available to you this winter:

THE MONARCH

The Monarch is a collaborative environment where artists, creative companies and creators of all types can connect, be inspired and create together in the heart of Ogden’s Nine Rails creative district. For more courses and workshops, visit themonarchogden.com.

Hope and Evolution Centerpiece Class Robbin Daffin; Thusday; 7 pm-8pm; $ 75

Robbin has always had a love for flowers. When she was only 5 years old, a grumpy Ogdenite neighbor called the cops on her for picking roses in their garden! After that, she stayed in her grandmother’s garden and practiced putting together small arrangements. She opened her own flower shop in Seattle in 2005. She is happy to be back in Ogden, where it all began!

Join Robbin for a holiday centerpiece class you can use to decorate your hallways on Thursday at All the Jingle Ladies Ugly Sweater Party! For $ 75, you can create a gorgeous vacation centerpiece that features a vintage ship. Contact @hopeandevolution on Instagram or text Robbin at 801-979-2827. Places are limited and must be prepaid.

Sarah Warner Abagulum; various art lessons for children; prices and dates vary

When Sarah took her first formal art class with local art master Donna Osmond Kearney Bingham, she knew that art would play an important role in her life. And that’s how the Ninth Muse Academy of Art was born and it never looked back.

Keep the kids entertained while you do some last minute shopping at The Art Box or enjoy a nice cup of coffee at WB’s.
